Overview

The Short Manaslu Circuit Trek is one of the exotic trekking routes in the Manaslu Trekking region, surrounding the peak of the world’s eighth-highest mountain, Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m). The Short Manaslu Circuit Trek showcases the pleasant blend of nature and the fusion of Nepali and Tibetan cultural elements.

Short Manaslu Circuit Trek is an ideal trek for trekkers to trek through unexplored areas of Nepal, which is filled with beautiful landscapes. Since 1992, the Short Manaslu Circuit Trek has been open for foreign travelers and is still listed as a restricted trekking area. It is an opportunity for nature, trekking, and travel lovers to experience a restricted area that undoubtedly offers a unique culture and tradition, along with the Himalayas and an eye-catching natural paradise.

Short Manaslu Circuit Trek is undoubtedly a trekking route that leads trekkers to a hidden treasure of remote Manaslu. The Manaslu Circuit Trek starts from Machha Khola (869 meters) and leads to the famous Larkya La Pass with an elevation of 5160 meters. Being at Larkya La Pass and passing is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding journeys of the Short Manaslu Circuit which provides amazing mountain vistas like Himlung Himal (7,125 m), Cheo Himal (6,820 m), Kang Guru (6,980 m), Annapurna II (7,937 m), Himchuli (7,893 m), Ganesh Himal (7,319 m), Shringeri Himal (7,187 m), and Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m). In other words, the Short Manaslu Circuit Trek is an adventurous journey as trekkers not only go through the Larkya Pass but also pass through the ancient salt trading route of Tibet along the Budhi Gandaki River. The Short Manaslu Circuit Trek is a blend of various Tibetan cultures and traditions, which makes travelers mention that the Manaslu Circuit Trek resembles a visit to Tibet. Travelers wonder more when they encounter the Polyandry marriage system (where two or more brothers are married to the same wife) still being practiced in the Manaslu Region.

Manaslu Circuit Trek – 10 Days enables trekkers to taste the Manaslu Region in a short period. Besides, Manaslu Larke Pass Trek and Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek, Manaslu Tsum Valley, and Larkya La Pass Trek are the other trekking routes you would go for if you drive to explore the Manaslu Region and have a longer period. Nepal Adventure Team welcomes adventurous souls to join the Manaslu Circuit Trek to explore the sound and unexplored trekking regions of Nepal within a shorter stay in Nepal. The  Short Manaslu Circuit Trek can be added to your bucket list if you are looking for a less-known trekking region of Nepal.
