Annapurna Region Trekking

The Annapurna region is one of the most famous and popular trekking areas in Nepal, attracting trekkers from all over the world because of its amazing variety of trails inside the Annapurna Conservation Area, which is Nepal's biggest protected area. It has something for every kind of trekker, from walks through farmland villages to tough mountain crossings like Thorong La; from stays with local families that let visitors get to know the Gurung, Magar and Thakali people, to special trips where trekkers help harvest wild honey from high cliffs; from traditional trips that show the history of the Himalayas to well-known routes like the Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Base Camp, Ghorepani Poon Hill and Mardi Himal. In addition to these paths, the area has secret places like the dry Tibetan-style land of Upper Mustang, the amazing high-altitude villages of Manang Valley, and the clean and beautiful Tilicho Lake, one of the highest lakes on Earth. There are also lesser-known places that offer a peaceful and real trekking experience without the crowds, making the Annapurna region a perfect place for adventure, culture, people, and nature all together.
