Pisang Peak is an enchanting pyramid-shaped peak that lies above the Pisang village on the world-famous Annapurna circuit. At an elevation of (6,091 m/19984 Ft) heights, Pisang Peak is one of the popular peaks, listed by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and allowed to climb by the government of Nepal. It was first climbed in 1955 by the German expedition team. Due to the steeply sloped Pisang peak made up of ice rocks, it is a challenging climb that requires physical fitness and a certain amount of physical pain.

Pisang Peak Climbing Difficulties
Unarguably, Pisang peak climbing required a certain amount of physical fitness. It is not just a physically demanding trek; it also requires climbing technique and proper skill to handle the Ice Axe and ropes. Having said that Pisang peak climbing is not the hardest peak to climb but it is one of the technically hard-to-climb peaks. With the basic knowledge of walking with rope and crampons, an ice ax Pisang peak is achievable. There are two camps in the Pisang peak climbing route, one is the base camp which is set at (4380 m) and the second is a high camp set at (5400 m) which also plays a great role in acclimatization. Therefore, beginners in mountain climbing also can successfully achieve Pisang Peak.

Best Time for Pisang Peak Climbing
Spring and autumn are the best time for Pisang peak climbing are from March to May (spring), and from September to November (autumn). During this time the crystal-clear views of mountains and stunning landscapes.
If you have the endurance level to cope with snow and ice, then climbing snowy mountain tops in winter is the best feeling you can experience through Pisang peak climbing. Due to the snowfall and slippery trail, climbing will be more challenging. In the monsoon, the view you achieve from the summit might be blurry so, climbing in the monsoon may be a bad idea but it is not impossible to climb Pisang Peak.
